I am the host of Radio 4's 'The Male Room', a late-night discussion programme featuring the kinds of conversations that men do not usually have on-air. We talk about inadequacy, anger, heroism, and myriad other male hang-ups!

The show is produced by BBC Bristol, and ran as a three-part series in December 2016, featuring guests including an anxious firefighter, a policeman with PTSD, a feminist comedian and a male rights activist. You can listen again here.

Also on Radio 4, I have co-hosted the two-part documentary 'Podcasting: The First Ten Years' with Helen Zaltzman.

The show celebrated the anniversary of the word 'podcast' being coined by Ben Hammersley in 2004, and aired at 11am in April 2014; repeated at 11pm the following month. It was produced by Trevor Dann and can be heard here.

In Episode One, we examine how the podcasting originated in the world of geeks and nerds before finding mainstream success thanks to the likes of Ricky Gervais. Our interviewees include Adam Curry, Marc Maron, Betty In The Sky With A Suitcase, Pete Donaldson and Grammar Girl.

In Episode Two, we look at how podcasters have launched themselves from the platform of online downloadable radio to carve media careers and even make six figure revenues. Our interviewees include Keith and the Girl, Richard Herring, Roman Mars, John Oliver and Andy Zaltzman.

Elsewhere on Radio 4, I have contributed to You And Yours, Front Row and What's So Funny?
